Words have a wonderful power to encourage, enlighten, edify, and inspire.  I love the beauty and joy that they can bring to our lives.

As the Bible says, “A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver” (Proverbs 25:11).  What a beautiful way to describe how precious the right words can be!I always enjoy short quotes like this one that pack a lot of meaning into a few words.  I guess I’m not the only one, since quotes rate their own subject category on Pinterest.  I have a whole Pinterest board filled with quotes that speak to me.

Although I love words, I don’t always find it easy to fill this blog with my own words.  I’ve been especially uninspired to write during these winter months.  So I’ve decided to find inspiration in the words of others!
