When it comes to skin care, I feel like I’m constantly on a learning curve to find the best solutions to improve my skin and keep it as youthful as possible. Time marches on, and skin care seems to become more complicated and more important as I get older – especially as I deal with rosacea.
I’ve tried some new products recently that have been a great help to my skin. One of my favorite products has become the vitamin C serum from OZ Naturals. It has done wonders for my rosacea.
Since I’ve been so happy with my OZ Naturals product, I was happy to try another one. I recently had the opportunity to receive a free sample of the Hyaluronic Acid Serum from OZ Naturals via Brandbacker.
I’d actually never heard of hyaluronic acid serum before, but it offers a lot of benefits for aging skin. According to the Dr. Oz blog, the name is misleading because this “acid” is not harsh for skin at all. In fact, it increases hydration and elasticity.
OZ Naturals bills its hyaluronic acid serum as a clinical strength anti-aging, anti-wrinkle serum that is proven to plump skin and fill in fine lines and wrinkles. According to the box, the serum diminishes surface lines and wrinkles by stimulating collagen. The cruelty free formula does not contain alcohol, parabens or sulfates and is safe for all skin types. It’s made in the USA in a state-of-the-art FDA-registered facility.
With all of those positive qualities I liked the sound of this serum, and I was eager to receive my sample. Best of all, this serum lived up to its description when I tried it!
The hyaluronic acid serum (with vitamins C+E) has been very gentle and hydrating for my skin. Since I have rosacea, I’m always a bit nervous when I try something new on my skin. I’m so happy that this serum has not caused any reaction from my rosacea.
After a few uses, I noticed that my skin really did feel more hydrated and smooth. My face usually tends to be a bit dry, and I noticed a distinct improvement in my skin texture. My forehead especially feels and looks more smooth. The serum seems to be helping those fine lines that develop over time.
I follow the directions on the box to apply the serum. First I cleanse my face and pat it dry, then apply a few drops of the serum and allow it to dry before applying a moisturizer. It absorbs very well on my skin and doesn’t leave an oily feeling.
According to the box, “the serum will help deliver your moisturizer deeper into the skin.” Maybe it’s the power of suggestion from the description on the box, but I do feel like my skin has a deeper level of hydration after using this product, rather than just a layer of moisturizer over the top of my skin.
The serum comes in a glass jar with a medicine dropper lid that makes it easy to control the amount of the hyaluronic serum you use. Since I need only three drops to cover my face with each application, the 1-ounce container will last a while.
You can use the serum daily and under makeup. Personally, I’ve been using this OZ Naturals hyaluronic acid serum at night and applying the OZ Naturals vitamin C serum in the morning. With this combination, my skin feels great.
At less than $20, I call this product a beauty bargain!
