February lunchbox printables for Valentine’s Day

It’s almost Valentine’s Day!

That means it’s time for some new lunchbox printables. These free lunchbox printables for Valentine’s Day are a fun way to add some cheer to lunchtime in February!

lunchbox printables for Valentine's Day

I don’t know about you, but I always find February to be the most dreary month of the year.  The weather where I live is gray and cold.  The excitement of celebrating Christmas and the new year is long gone.

But then there’s Valentine’s Day right in the middle of the month to spice things up.  So it’s fun to make the most of that little holiday and spread some cheer among loved ones.

These new lunchbox printables for Valentine’s Day are designed to make the dreary month of February a little more fun for kids at lunchtime.  Like my other lunchbox printables, these are a simple way to encourage kids while they’re at school.

All of my lunchbox printables have nine designs on an 8.5 x 11 piece of paper.  You just print out the PDF document, cut them out, and pop them into lunchboxes.  They’re small enough to fit easily into lunches, but there’s a little room to write a personal message and/or sign them if you want.

Free lunchbox printables for spring

These free lunchbox printables are a fun way
to encourage kids while they’re away at school.

Do you send notes in your child’s lunch?  My daughter loves getting little notes in her lunchbox when she’s at school.  I like sending them because it gives me a small way to encourage her during the day when I’m not with her.

To make it easier to get a note packed in her lunch in the morning, I designed my first set of free lunchbox printables a while back.

Those were a hit with my daughter, and she has been waiting for some new designs to show up for her lunch.  I’m happy to say that I’ve finally come through for her!

Today I’m sharing my new set of lunchbox printables.

These free lunchbox printables are designed for the upper elementary age group.  With these designs, there’s a little room on each one to add a personal note if you want.

The PDF prints nine designs on 8.5×11 paper that you can then cut down to a little lunchbox-size note.  I have to admit, I’m a little OCD, and it kinda bugs me to have nine designs rather than an even 10 on the sheet.  But I haven’t figured out how to fit 10 on the paper yet, so nine will have to do. :)

These new designs have a spring flair to them with a bunny and colored eggs.  However, they’re not overly seasonal, so they could work any time of the year.

Celebrate World Pasta Month with the family!

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Buca di Beppo® for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

Enjoy World Pasta Month with Buca di Beppo!

Did you know that October is World Pasta Month?

In my house we like pasta at any time, but we’re always happy to have another reason to eat some yummy Italian food! Our family can definitely get into celebrating World Pasta Month with some good food!

We’re clearly in good company among pasta lovers. Pasta is so popular in the United States that 24% of the global consumption of pasta is by Americans – the largest of any country in the world! I’ve learned that the average American consumes 20 pounds of pasta annually. That sounds about right for me!

I especially love pasta as comfort food in the fall and winter when the weather turns colder, so I think World Pasta Month is perfectly situated in October. It’s a great time to fill up with some delicious pasta dishes!

One of my favorite places for Italian food is Buca di Beppo. They have great, authentic Italian cuisine, and the ambiance in the restaurant is always fun with their eclectic, vintage setting!

We have made some special memories at Buca di Beppo enjoying dinner together with the extended family. Buca’s family-style dishes make it easy to dine together as a large group.

During October, Buca di Beppo has a special Create Your Own Pasta Bowl experience in its restaurants in honor of World Pasta Month. It’s a fun way to personalize your meal! You can order your favorite pasta and sauce combination for the ultimate personal pasta bowl experience.

Buca makes it easy to create your perfect pasta bowl.

  • First, you pick your pasta. Will it be spaghetti, linguine, penne, rigatoni or cavatappi?
  • Next, select your sauce. Choose from marinara, alfredo, garlic olive oil, rosa, pesto or meat sauce.
  • Choose up to three veggies. You have a choice of diced roma tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes, roasted red peppers, artichokes, sautéed mushrooms, broccoli, spinach, green peas or sliced red onions.
