Days of thanks: Marvelous music

I’ve been keeping busy with fall cleaning.  I was too busy with work to do a thorough spring cleaning, so now I’m doing a deep clean to spruce up before the holidays.

While I work on this super fun job, the right music makes it more enjoyable.

I have particular playlists to keep my energy right for other tasks, such as running, so I decided to adapt a playlist to set the background for household chores.

My favorite playlist for chores is about an hour long.  After that, I say it’s time for a break.  I tried to make it upbeat to keep things moving.

These are my current favorites for housework:

1. Home – Phillip Phillips

2.  Next to Me – Emeli Sande

3.  Hey Mama – Mat Kearney

4.  Feel Again – OneRepublic

5.  All In – Lifehouse

6.  I Will Wait – Mumford & Sons

7.  Forever Young – Bob Dylan

8.  Walking on Sunshine – Katrina & The Waves

9.  Paradise – Coldplay

10.  Brighter than the Sun – Colbie Caillat

11.  Gone, Gone, Gone – Phillip Phillips

12.  Chocolate – Snow Patrol

13.  Better Together – Jack Johnson

14.  Try – Pink

15.  Here I Go Again – Whitesnake

16.  Dog Days Are Over – Florence + The Machine

It’s an eclectic list, but I think it keeps things fun.

For my thankfulness project, today I’m thankful for music.  It can make good times better and even make chores less dull.

Does anyone else have a playlist to help get you through your chores?  What’s on your list?
